Information about our health tests.
Do I need to think about something before the test?
For Allergy, Food Intolerance Test or Histamine Test, it is recommended that you have been exposed to the tested substances included within the last three months, if it has been longer there is a risk that it will not give as strong a result on the test result.
When and how do I get my result?
Your test result will arrive within 15 working days, usually faster. You will receive an email when the result is ready where you then visit a landing page with us at Testmottagningen and request an access code that you use to be able to open and download your result.
Does it matter when in the day I book my test?
No, our health tests can be performed at any time of the day.
How does the sampling for health tests work?
Sampling is done via blood and saliva and is carried out at our clinic on Sveavägen in Stockholm. Blood tests are done via capillary sampling with a prick in the finger. The sample is then sent off to the lab for analysis.
Does taking medication affect my outcome?
Yes, some drugs may have an impact on our tests. Before your test, we therefore recommend that you double-check if you can continue with any drugs and supplements or if they can affect your test result. Avoid antihistamines 24 hours before allergy tests. Avoid the intake/use of hormone preparations 7 days before our hormone tests unless you want your intake to be included in your test measurement. Email us at email@example.com if you are wondering about any specific drug.
